How to get here?

Porten till Alvaret is situated on the island of Öland in southeast Sweden.

The island is connected to the mainland with a bridge from Kalmar.
After the bridge, take the second exit:  towards Mörbylånga/Ottenby (road 136). 
Follow this road passing an ICA shop and the villages of Torslunda and Skogsby.
One kilometer after Skogsby, you will see our signs: Porten till Alvaret – Ekologiska forskningsstationen.  Our centre is on the left side of the road.

Station Linné is also accessable with public transport.
From the railwaystation in Kalmar buss 103 takes you to Öland and stops right in the front of our station. Just notify the bus driver. that you want to get off at the ecological station in Skogsby.

Kalmar has a local airport and direct train connections with the airports of Copenhagen and Växjö. International train connections depart from Malmö and Copenhagen.
